Caterpillar Belts / Puller Belts
Caterpillar Belts are reinforced new generation belts with specially formulated compounds which ensure consistency, long life, low abrasion and dependability with improved performance and greater economy regardless of application. Our specially designed belts are “True Endless Belts”, i.e. these belts do not have any joints. These belts are engineered to precision by our technical team after in-depth analysis of our customer’s needs.
Our Caterpillar belts, which are used in the production and processing of cables, are manufactured of high-quality materials since they are mainly used at high speeds and under considerable pressure. Matrix® Line has a wide range of puller/caterpillar belts produced on either a flat or poly-V belt base depending on customer requirements. These belts exhibit superior performance and operating life due to exceptionally low wear features. In order to ensure a long service life and good performance, it is important that this material meets some application requirements. The coated continuous polyester and/or aramid fabric construction of Matrix® Caterpillar belts allow the application of high pulling forces. Special bottom covers absorb high pressure loads and ensure low rolling resistance. Different top covers can be selected to combine optimum grip and wear resistance for every type of cable.
The absence of a splice, together with tight tolerances in belt thickness and suppleness, allows for constant speed of work. Our range of belts is available in a wide range of wear resistant covers, smooth or with grooves on both top and bottom sides. Matrix® belts are always manufactured in pairs ensuring constant cable quality.
